Kwasiafrikani

kwasiafrikani.nlDuring the last two weekends of November 2008, I take part with work of Ghetto protential in Kwasiafrikani, a nomadic art event, that evolved when Wim Vonk met Cas Rooseboom and Klaas de Jonge. It is based on their affinity with African art and art history. Alas ‘rules and regulations’ prevented the event from going public. However, a film will be made by Enno de Jonge, which can be seen in due course on the website of the event.

Update: Kwasiafrikani got covered by Weesper nieuws.

Support Ethiopia

pb_20060326-4991_der_clr.JPGProject-e is a welfare organization primarily focusing on education of young people in Ethiopia. I was contacted by the project for permission to use the accompanying photo of an Ethiopian girl. Of course I agreed: we must(!) support people in countries like Ethiopia!
